GRAMMY’S 2017
-BEST and WORST-
by Diego Arevalo aka John Rivers & Daniela C

This year’s Grammy Awards where clearly an event of pure fashion highlights, with gowns varying from Julien Macdonald to Tom Ford. However big this fashion names are not all of their dresses managed to impress us. The Grammy’s, as always, an iconic event everything from performances to the fashion statements are absolutely jaw-dropping. But...as much as we praise some of the gorgeous fashion sported by celebrities that evening, there are some dresses that were not so far from trash. Following, we share our BEST and WORST dressed of the night:

BEST:

Demi Lovato
She wore an embroidered dress by Julien Macdonald and looked drop-dead-GORGEOUS! Demi was certainly not afraid to suit some cleavage -but we didn’t mind. Moreover this dress fitted her body like a glove, flawlessly! This dress was truly a work of art, the amount of detail on the dress is unbelievable. Plus her makeup and hair were simply perfect.

Rihanna
She wore a two-piece gown by Armani Privé. This dress was custom made for her,  the orange halter style top embedded with rhinestones she wore revealed her tattoo impeccably. Her long wavy hair was one of the night’s envies.

Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy rocked her black gown by Roberto Cavalli. The fitted dress created a slimming illusion that made her waist look even tinier than it really is. I love how glowing her perfect contour makes her look. The embroidered pattern in her dress, the waist slits and feathery bottom were astonishing details that perfectly complemented each other.

Paulina Rubio
Paulina Rubio looked absolutely gorgeous in a black dress with lace and mesh details. Her see-through sequin dress featuring a high neckline and side slits that showed of her leather booties. Her wavy, to-the-side hair do made her look young and stunning! Kudos for her and her brilliant style on Grammy night -let’s hope she keeps it up!

Jennifer Lopez

JLo never lets us down, the cleave, the slit and that fierce look! She simply looked stunning. I have one question: does she ever age? As we have seen in many of Jlo’s looks she can perfectly pull off the the high Angelina Jolie leg slit. This delicate lilac coloured gown was a great look for her. Did I mention her heels!? Just beautiful.

WORST:

CeeLo Green

What. In. The. World. Ceelo showed up to the Grammy red carpet looking like a Trump Tower luchador! His full length suit, gloves and mask were all painted a shiny metallic gold that made our eyes cringe for days. His career hasn’t been quite as successful as his ability to make everyone laugh -at him.

Girl Crush
Okay...so this is one way to get noticed in the Grammy’s red carpet! “Girl Crush” was trying to make a name of herself by using an appalling multicolor balls dress to catch everyone’s attention. Girl...what were you thinking??? This was anything but bubblelicious.

Joy Villa

As well as Girl Crush’s outfit this was one that clearly was a scream for attention. Not even sure who this girl is...but her outfit choice is certainly not the best way to become loved by the world. Trump campaign gown? She looks like she came out of Trump’s rear end -but we applaud her unexplainable confidence.

Halsey
Then wearing this ensamble designed by Christian Wijnants, Halsey told Elle magazine, "I didn't want to wear a dress, so I wore my gym clothes". She should've stayed at the gym rather than showing up at the red carpet like that, to be honest.

Katy Perry
I just want to let you know that Tom Ford let me down. What is this? Is it a dress or a sequin sweater and a feathery skirt? Girl, you came looking like a pink version of Big Bird from Sesame Street. On the other hand, her makeup and her new blonde hairstyle were absolutely fab. Too bad her gown didn’t match her looks.
